West Lane, Sittingbourne

With only couple years experience within the industry, a little cash in the bank and a whole lot of drive to become not only the most known company but that with the highest quality finish, West lane, Sittingbourne was the chosen first project for Woodchurch Properties Limited to begin this journey. If being 40minutes away wasnt enough of a curveball, the start of COVID-19 as we know it would take effect pretty much out the gates! this brought on not only financial and material concern but concern for the safety of our team. This property had been reportedly untouched

and unloved for approximately 30 years and this was evident from the moment you stepped through the front door with thick dark dirt build up to all carpets and years of smoking abuse taking its toll on the wallpapered walls and ceilings - to add to the time restraint placed on the team, a number of rooms had woodchip wall paper, once used to cover bad unevenness or cracks. Another item was the kitchen, with small existing kitchen pulling away from the original building and the outside growing up through the cracks, there would only be one option - to pull it down and start from scratch. Upstairs not being much better as you can see from the below photos - the boys had a challenge, lucky for me, thats when their best comes out. The outside, we wont discuss the outside as it was like walking into a jungle in Narnia, combined with the fact we didn't mage to take a photo, but just imagine something terribly unkept and over grown - then times that by 10

All in all the project took an excruciating 7 months due to delays in sourcing materials and the governments requirement to down tools for a short period, but the wait and the push was well worth it come the finished product. From the ugly duckling of the road to the Belle of the ball!

At WPL (Woodchurch Properties Limited) we are strong believers in that the small, over looked items are what in fact create something truly unique and beautiful, our aim and drive is to create something which once you see it, you cant forget it and must have it - luckily enough (some may say), thats exactly what was delivered, and after 12 hours on the market, the property was sold!
